Teya Strengthens Acquiring Capabilities Across the UK and EU

Teya has completed a new phase in the development of its acquiring operations, further strengthening its infrastructure to support scalable growth across the UK and European markets.

The programme focused on enhancing financial operations, improving settlement workflows and reinforcing reconciliation processes across multiple markets. These enhancements are designed to provide greater operational resilience, increased transparency in merchant servicing and improved efficiency in day-to-day financial processing.

As Teya continues to expand its footprint, the upgraded framework supports higher transaction volumes and evolving market requirements, while maintaining a strong focus on reliability and performance. As part of this phase, Teya moved to Amazon Aurora, a PostgreSQL-based cloud database engine. This shift strengthens Teya’s ability to scale quickly, process large settlement workloads, and maintain high availability across multiple markets.

The initiative was delivered in collaboration with Solanteq, Teya’s technology partner. Solanteq provides a cloud-native and scalable processing platform designed to support multi-market operations and multiple financial institutions within a unified framework.

This milestone marks another step in Teya’s strategy to strengthen its acquiring capabilities and deliver consistent, high-quality services to merchants across Europe.
